Rice can be a healthy part of a dog's diet because it's a good source of fibre & nutrients. The fibre in rice can help with regular bowel movements. Rice contains calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin D, which support healthy bones. Rice's prebiotic action feeds good bacteria in the small intestines. White rice, which we use is easier on a dog's stomach than brown rice and is recommended for digestive issues.
Sweet potatoes are great for digestive health because they’re high in dietary fibre. They’re also low in fat and contain vitamin B6, vitamin C, and manganese. Also, a sweet flavour they’ll love.
Peas are amongst the healthiest veg for your dog. A great source of
vitamins A, B, & K. Packed with iron, zinc, potassium, and magnesium. Rich
in protein, high in fibre. Over 70% of the composition is made up from sweet
potato & peas alone.
Dried Yeast. Used for all sorts of nutritional health benefits. Its rich in Amino Acids & Antioxidants, Rich in B Vitamins, which help promote healthy Skin & Coat, supporting the immune system, aiding digestion. Also has a yummy Umami taste which makes our chews even more appealing.
